I’m a DJ based in Halifax and recently travelled to Toronto to play a wedding on Toronto Island.

In my business, sounding great is essential – but looking great is important too. Between gear, travel logistics and wardrobe I had enough on my mind and in my schedule without worrying about my do for the big event. Luckily, I had heard about the Blo on Yonge Street and made a Saturday morning appointment so I could stop in while enroute to sound check.

Upon entrance, I was greeted by proud franchise partners Mel and Tara and whisked away to a station for the 30 minute transformation. I chose the “Bardot” and my stylist consulted on the height to ensure the do would accommodate my headphones, yet still have killer style!

At the end of 30 minutes and for a bargain of around $30 I left feeling refreshed and looking ready to rock.
