Blo | Blow Dry Bar

Coming Soon - Blo, a Blow Dry Bar that offers to wash and style your hair in about 30 minutes for roughly $30, is coming to Calgary this spring.

I love the idea behind Blo.

And so does Calgary entrepreneur Arlene Dickinson, one of the dragons on CBC's Dragons' Den show.

Dickinson is backing the franchise's expansion into Alberta.

"This is an amazing opportunity to invest in an emerging trend," she said in a news release.

"Remember 10 years ago when nail bars were few and far between? Today, they're everywhere. Customers have shown that they are looking for fast and convenient ways to ensure they look their best."
