The Buzz: New salons lead best-tressed pack

Crowning touch: The Joseph Cozza salon at Gump's has moved into larger digs at the former 77 Maiden Lane salon, thanks to Sherlee Rhine, who sold the space to Cozza (left) and his business partner, Joe Bisazza (far left). They've added spa treatments and by June, the lobby will have been have retooled into their rendition of an Apple store Genius Bar - not to buy apps, but to have an expert recommend the best gels, shampoos and accessories. Computers don't have bad hair days, silly.

Across town, a branch of Vancouver, British Columbia's Blo Blow Dry Bar Inc. opened last week at 2167 Union St. No scissors or dyes are allowed; the seven styles of blowouts run about $30 each; for info, see blomedry.com. (Type carefully, or risk finding a site unrelated to hair.)

In Danville once a month, Citro salon will host celebrity stylist Marcus Daniels, director of color at the Giuseppe Franco salon in Beverly Hills (book early for the man who's touched the locks of Faith Hill, Gloria Estefan and Jane Krakowski, at left).

And fellow Beverly Hills stylist and TV beauty expert Kim Vo, at right, who specializes in blondes (Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson, Pam Anderson) has opened his fourth U.S. salon at 11 Tillman Place, off Union Square. His product line includes boket, a Vietnamese botanical that adds shine. Just trying to keep you among the nation's best-tressed. Are Art Luna and Louis Licari next?
