Blo Midtown, a Blow Dry Bar, opened recently at 3301 NE First Ave., Suite 102 in Miami. Owners are Toronto natives (and sisters) Sandirose Magder and Kailey Magder. A forensic accountant, Sandi, 35, lives in Aventura. Kailey, 29, previously worked for Theory in New York; she now resides in Midtown Four (the building that houses Blo).

“We couldn’t believe there wasn’t a quick, easy place to get a blow dry in the area, especially since people in Miami have long hair which is tough to manage because of the weather,” recalls Kailey.
